My name is Erika Tran. I've been doing computer graphic and web designs for approximately five years. I started off as,
what you would expect, an amateur computer user. I was not all together into computer-related activities yet. But that was
slightly altered when I was first introduced to Adobe Photoshop, as said, five years ago, because one of my relatives had
some interest in web design at the time and I wanted to see how it was done. So, as a result, she helped me to install the
version of Photoshop she had lying around, which happened to be version 6.0. When I first opened the program, my IQ dropped
to ZERO. It felt and looked so complex that my brain practically started to deflate. But despite this, I attempted to
work at the nooks and crannies of the program, and I slowly, very slowly, started to learn the basics.
I was never the kind who would buy a 1000-paged book about Photoshop and actually take time to read it, nor was I the type
to look for tutorials online. So, after about a year of self-teaching with Photoshop, I finally got the hang of it and was
using it quite a bit. I was later introduced to Elements, as well as version 7.0 not long after I became familiar with the
program. And then in late 2006, I was introduced to the very lovely CS2 and later CS3, which are the current versions I'm using,
and they are amazing! I don't know what I would do without them. And now, with the skills I've developed over the years, I've
been told that I have finally mastered most of the program, and so I've decided to share my passion for designs with everyone
by unveiling Erika T. Designs. (Learn more about me at Within The Secrets)
